Mac West is a seasoned information technology administrator with over 20 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, support, and systems administration. He holds dual degrees in Information Technology and Cybersecurity, along with multiple industry-recognized certifications.

As the lead instructor for our Foundations of IT program, Mac combines a deep understanding of both technical fundamentals and real-world application. His proven passion for making tech education approachable, especially for beginners, bridges the gap between textbook learning and on-the-job skills.

Mac’s instructional style blends academic insight with practical scenarios, ensuring students not only prepare for the CompTIA A+ certification exam but also graduate with job-ready knowledge. His leadership is central to WestAccel Academy’s mission: to help new learners enter the tech field with confidence.
